Hi there — we're glad you stopped by. Panhandle Diesel and Automotive opened in Scottsbluff in 2017 with one simple belief: a repair shop should be a place you're happy to visit, run by people who are happy to see you. Nine years later, the shop is bigger and the tools are nicer. The belief hasn't changed one bit. Call 308-641-5345 — we'd love to meet you.

Under the hood
1802 E Overland, ScottsbluffWhy We Do What We Do
Let's be honest. Most people don't love going to a repair shop. They worry about being talked down to, sold things they don't need, or billed for work they can't see. We get it — and that's exactly why this shop exists. We believe car care can be different. Honest. Clear. Even enjoyable. It's in our name, too: diesel AND automotive, because your work truck and your family car deserve the same careful hands. Today we're the biggest shop in the Panhandle. We didn't get here with gimmicks. We got here one happy guest at a time — by showing people what's wrong, telling the truth about it, and standing behind every fix. Being the biggest was never the goal. Being the one you trust always was. The size just followed. And in 2026, Star-Herald readers voted us Best Auto Repair Shop in the Best of the West awards — the kind of thank-you that keeps a whole shop smiling.
What Care Beyond Repair Means to Us
Fixing cars is the job. Caring about the people who drive them is the joy of it. That's our tagline, and it shows up in real ways. A loaner car so your week keeps moving. A photo on your phone instead of a mystery bill. A cheerful "that can wait until fall" when it truly can. And a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty that says we'll stand behind this repair for years. Every shop can fix your car. We want to be the shop that takes care of you.
ASE Masters Under One Roof
ASE Master Certification is the highest rank in this trade. It takes years of work and a long list of exams most techs never attempt. Many shops don't have a single ASE Master. We're proud to have ASE Master Certified techs leading our team, backed by ASE certified techs throughout the shop. Whatever you drive, it's in proven hands — hands that enjoy the work. Want to meet the crew? See our Careers page, or better yet, stop by and say hi.

Rooted in the Panhandle
We live here too. Our kids go to school here. Our trucks plow the same snow. We bump into our guests at the grocery store — and that's just how we like it.
